Sen. Jon Kyl, Roger Noriega, Paul Kengor, Claudia Rosett

September 19th, 2012

Senator JON KYL discusses the recent attacks on US embassies and the fear he has concerning liberals using these attacks to curtail free speech. He also explains that in light of these attacks, we need to be strong in our convictions and not submit to terrorism.

Latin American analyst ROGER NORIEGA explains how Hugo Chavez could still steal the election even in his fragile state. He also analyzes the drug trade in Colombia and the need for the US to maintain a strong presence in the region.

Professor PAUL KENGOR of Grove City College joins Frank today to discuss the current turmoil in the Middle East. Kengor argues that “all Hell has broken” loose in the Middle East. The hardcore Islamist Extremists behind the chaos pose a dire threat to U.S. interests in the region and to the security and well-being of the American people. Kengor argues that President Obama’s weak policies toward our enemies in the Middle East eerily reflect Jimmy Carter’s weak stand against the Soviet Union and Islamists who took over Iran in 1979.

CLAUDIA ROSETT talks about what the UN, Rice and Benghazi have in common. Rosett argues that the Obama administration is taking a weak UN-style approach to the Benghazi Consulate attack – that is, refusing to “own” the situation and take charge. She also takes time to talk about the increasing tensions between China and Japan.
