Fred Grandy reviews the week in national security with Frank from Boko Haram in the oil critical nation of Nigeria to the President's national security and foreign policy record to date. Counter-terrorism expert Steve Coughlin gets into the nuts and bolts of how our federal counter-terrorism professionals are trained and how terrorism supporting groups in the U.S. influence that training. Then Congressman Louie Gohmert takes the same topic to a legal and policy level. Such terrorist supporting influence groups have been meeting with FBI officials at the highest level despite legislation which passed last year forbidding the FBI to meet with so-called civil rights groups who have been identified by the Department of Justice as having given material support to terrorists. Bill Gertz ends the hour with breaking news on severe cuts to our nuclear deterrent.

Fred Grandy spends the first half of the hour with Frank on Iran's ability to a attack the U.S. from Venezuela. Is the White House in some way responsible for Iran’s audacity? Fred moves on to evaluate the decision by the President to pull out of Afghanistan and the negotiation between the administration and the Taliban to release the Talibani leaders from Guantanamo Bay. Then to the recent defense cuts by President Obama; what would be the implications of such cuts be; not only at nationally level but at State and community level? Eric Stacklebeck joins Frank to shed light on Council on American Islamic Relations’ (CAIR) influence in America. Has Obama played a vital role in emboldening CAIR to curb our right and freedom of speech? What role does Yusuf al-Qaradawi play, not only in CAIR and Muslim Brotherhood but also in the negotiations between the administration and the Taliban in Afghanistan? An Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear program, the drawdown in Afghanistan, and U.S. Russian relations all weigh with consequence. What are the implications of how the U.S. plays it’s hand? No one knows the context, the players, and the moves better than Washington Times Geopolitical editor and legendary national security journalist, Bill Gertz. Catch his weekly wrap up of defences issues with Frank.

This week, CAIR, a defacto Islamist lobby front group pressured the NYPD police chief, Ray Kelly, to resign. Reuters reported yesterday that progressive group, VoteVets, wants West Point to ban General William Boykin from speech at a prayer breakfast. Each group takes issue with free speech under the condition that it addresses the threat doctrine animating terrorism in government counter terrorism training if such speech is associated with Islam in any way. Former Congressman and Center for Security Policy's Executive Vice President, Fred Grandy, brings his unique expertise on these matters in today's show. Monica Crowley follows Fred in the line up with an up close New Yorker's take on CAIR's attack on Ray Kelly and the NYPD counter terrorist capability. "What CAIR and other Muslim Brotherhood front groups do in America and do in the West is intimidation." From Monica there is a depth of understanding about why the NYPD is so successful and what it is about there counter terrorism training that has CAIR's ire. In Kelly's case, it has to do with a film of increasing curiosity called The Third Jihad. These interviews and more are right here! From today's show prep: Christian Whiton segment : North Korea Not A Democracy In its first reaction to news that Kim Jong Il—North Korea’s “Dear Leader” and maximum tyrant—was dead, the White House said that President Obama reaffirmed our “strong commitment to the stability of the Korean peninsula.” This presages continuing an unbroken, bipartisan streak of bad policy in regard to the rogue nuclear state. As usual, when the watchword is “stability,” the result is anything but. First off, expect many in the West to get the transition wrong. Kim Jong Un—the recently deceased dictator’s third son—may be the formal face of the regime. But it’s extremely unlikely the 27-year-old, who wasn’t even groomed for leadership until recently, is going to run the mafia government of North Korea. Kim Jong Il was more than 50 when he took power and had been a longtime understudy of his own father.

Fred Grandy starts today’s show with his weekly wrap-up. Fred gives his analysis on the recent presidential debate as well as Newt Gingrich’s statement pertaining to Sharia. Fred also explains that Afghan Security Forces are turning their weapons on their instructors, US, NATO or French forces. This breach in security needs to be addressed; America is essentially running a de-facto jihad training camp because these jihadists are using American training to kill Americans. Is now really the time to start pulling out of Afghanistan?
David Yerushalmi explains the need for the American Freedom Law Center, which he just founded, as the first Judeo-Christian public interest law firm. The law center focuses on offensive as well as defensive lawfare against the threat from Sharia and the Muslim Brotherhood. Is the threat so great that America needs such organizations? Sharia is an existential threat around the world; it motivates the global jihad and groups such as CAIR, the OIC and the Muslim Brotherhood. The OIC wants to establish anti-blasphemy laws in America, which is the first step to a Sharia compliant government. Will the American government institute such a law that is in direct conflict with the First Amendment? Have there been instances where Sharia has found its way into American courts?
Nuclear arms expert Elbridge Colby spends time with Frank to explain the need to maintain America’s strategic triad, which is our deterrence from a nuclear strike. The triad consists of submarines, Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) and B-52 and B-2 bombers. America must think long term; we do not know what future threats there will be therefore we must maintain this triad to ensure security for America and our allies. Each leg of the triad is used to ensure a quick counterstrike to an attack against homeland America, our forces or our allies. No one can attack America without reprisal and that security must be maintained. We cannot be the only country without nuclear weapons and we cannot convince other nations to remove their weapons, so we must maintain ours. Isn’t it necessary to be able to counter an attack on America?
The triad is cheap in comparison to other programs and force resources. America has not tested a nuclear weapon since 1992, how affective are they at this point? We need to test these systems to ensure they are in proper working condition as well as modernize our force structure. Mr. Colby finishes the interview with his take on the need to develop modern bunker buster bombs as another deterrent so enemies don’t feel they can hide after an attack.
Washington Times columnist Bill Gertz takes us “Inside the Ring.” US military officials are showing concern of the possibility that the president may sign the European Unions’ Code of Conduct, which would curtail American military space technology. What is the real situation with the Code of Conduct? Will the administration sign this agreement and what will that mean for American security? Finally, Bill shares his opinion about the Iranian nuclear situation and the US governments’ passive role on it.

Friday Jan 13, 2012
Fred Grand starts off today’s show by elaborating on Obama’s comment in regards to reorganizing the commerce and trade department. Does this administration want to consolidate power within the executive branch? In a review of yesterdays interview with Diana West, Fred Grandy explains his view on the Marines eligibly desecrating corpse of Taliban’s combat in Afghanistan. How will the Oklahoma ruling in regards to the Shariah law determine the path for the rest of America?
Space expert Taylor Dinerman joins Frank to explain how America uses space more than any other nation. Space is used for commercial and military capabilities and therefore it is necessary to protect space from hostile nations who seek to use it in order to threaten US security. China is working towards an anti-satellite missile and has joined Russia in looking to weaponize space as well as use space to impact US communications. There is an international agreement to establish laws in the use of space known as the Cod of Conduct, but it undermines America space power. This would limit testing for anti-satellite missiles as well as create a space traffic control program headed by the United Nations that would undermine American sovereignty. Will the Obama Administration concede space to our enemies?
Mitch Silber from the New York Police Department’s Intelligence Division explains how his new book, “The al-Qaeda Factor: Plots Against The West,” analyzes 16 different al-Qaeda plots in both Europe and North America since 1993. By looking into past attacks, units such as the NYPD might be able to thwart future terrorist attacks on the homeland. Al-Qaeda core influence has diminished over the years and they could not achieve their goals without people coming to them from Western nations instead of them going out and recruiting. Conspirators come from the West and policymakers need to understand that, they also need to understand the two main factors that lead a person to violence. Mitch explains that these two factors are political grievances or a literalist interpretation of Islam that calls for violence to combat non-believers. The Obama Administration desires to find that ideology plays no role in extremism, but rather just political grievances, which is a fallacy. A literalist interpretation of Islamic doctrine is at the forefront of violent extremism. Does the Obama Administration properly recognize the threat that America faces? Is the president taking the proper steps to ensure American security?
Finally, Bill Gertz gives his take on the difficulty the president faces in achieving his national security goals as well as institute the defense cuts that he has proposed. Secretary of Defense Panetta is starting to fight back against these cuts and explain how America’s military capabilities will be seriously hindered. American enemies will feel empowered and become more aggressive knowing America has a limited response. Will our allies feel secure and adequately protected by a smaller US force? What is the connection between China’s civilian technology and the military? Gertz also explains how China is trying to influence upcoming Tawain elections. There is economic warfare and the president is weak on combating this growing threat, al-Qaeda wanted to wage an economic jihad against Europe. What does this mean to American financial security?

Thursday Jan 05, 2012
Mark Theissen opens today’s show with his analysis of how the Obama Administration is inviting the next attack. These type of defense cuts will leave America open to another attack that could be more horrific than 9/11. We need to build our budget around our strategy instead of building our strategy around our budget. Boeing will be closing a huge plant in Wichita, Kansas that will put over 2100 people out of work because the president does not feel defense is important to America and our economy. The Obama Administration is willing to release a mass murderer, someone who has committed atrocities against humanity in order to secure peace talks with the Taliban. The Taliban sees America’s willingness to negotiate as a sign of submission and this is emboldening our enemy to become more aggressive and seek greater concessions on the part of the American forces. What is the cost of these defense cuts to our economy and our security?
Supna Zaidi from the Lawfare Project spends time with Frank to explain how her organization is fighting to defend the Constitution and liberty against those who seek to use legal means to censor or diminish liberty. India is using their legal system to force international internet provides, such as Google, to remove any content that is deemed offensive to normal sensibilities. Also, the Turkish government has used legal means to jail critics of Islam and the OIC has advocated the use of legal systems around the world in order to push Sharia onto free societies. Will Islamists in America turn to our courts in order to push their Sharia agenda onto our free society?
Fred Grandy spends two segments with Frank to give his analysis on the Iowa Caucuses as well as what Congress needs to do in order to ensure national security and stave off cataclysmic cuts to defense and our freedoms. Will there be Congressional hearings to help protect Americans? The Obama Administration is willing to release high ranking Taliban leaders from Guantanamo Bay in return for the Taliban to open peace talks with us. Are we submitting to the enemy? Where is Congress in preventing such a disastrous chain of events from occurring?

Thursday Dec 08, 2011
Fred Grandy, David Satter, Charles Jacobs, Rep. Todd Akin
Thursday Dec 08, 2011
Thursday Dec 08, 2011
Fred Grandy joins Frank to explain the Islamist agenda to suppress American liberties. There is an “unholy” alliance between the Egyptian military and the Muslim Brotherhood in which to create a Sharia compliant state and persecute those who do not adhere to this strict Islamic law. What does this mean for those who seek freedom in Egypt? Is this the future of the Arab Spring? Currently the U.S. aid is being used to buy weapons that are being used against minorities in Egypt. Will America keep giving money to these Sharia compliant regimes?
David Satter explains what is happening in Russia. The Russian people are sick and tired of the elite political party, the United Party, which has had their stranglehold over the people and the nation’s wealth. The United Party got less than 50% of voter support in recent elections showing Putin and his party that people will no longer tolerate the bribery, corruption and intimidation that have run rampant throughout Russia. Will Russia finally turn a corner towards true democracy or is this a hollow vote? What alternatives do the Russian people have? The Communist party has garnered more support in the wake of the United Party’s weakening, but will Russia fall back to Communism or is there no better option? Unfortunately, Vladimir Putin will be re-elected but his time of being unchallenged is over; what will this clash mean for Russian security?
Charles Jacobs visits Frank to explain the work being done in Nashville, Tennessee. Jacobs and his supporters work to combat the growing threat from radical Muslims within the United States. Jacobs works to vet and expose the stealth jihadists within the United States in hopes that liberal academics, politicians and other influential members of society will no longer bend over backwards to appease the ones who wish to either control or kill Americans. When will Americans open their eyes to the threat from the stealth jihad? Jacobs explains the increased hatred of Jews from the Muslim community, but notes that the American Jewish community has done little to combat this growing tide of anti-Semitism because they wish to be politically correct and not offend anyone even those who wish to kill them. Has political correctness gone too far? Which is more important, political correctness or security?
Rep. Todd Akin joins Fred Grandy inside the Cloakroom to discuss the defense cuts. Before the sequestration cuts, DOD has already cut somewhere between $450-$600 billion which is the equivalent of 45 aircraft carries. This is already a huge cut before the Pentagon even gets to the sequestration cuts. There is a false idea that these cuts take place in 2013 and therefore does not apply to security today. The military is already making cuts today, in anticipation for the cuts in 2013. The Navy will be decommissioning 50 ships, taking the number of available ships down to 290 ships. As recently as 1990, the Navy had almost doubled that number. Our military is about half of what it was in 1990, how can they provide adequate security? How can our navy patrol the globe with its size? 90% of all commerce travels through water therefore our navy must patrol the seas to provide security to those products. What can be done to help ensure national and global security? Is Obamacare and Entitlements more important than security?

Fred Grandy, Rep. Gus Bilirakis, Mike Foreman, Bill Gertz
Friday Dec 02, 2011
Friday Dec 02, 2011
Fred Grandy joins Frank to explain the upcoming hearings in the Lantos Human Rights Committee which will shed light on the truth behind the Arab Spring. Truth is the Arab Spring is nothing more than a platform to persecute religious minorities such as the Coptic Christians in Egypt. The Arab Spring is providing the Islamist agenda to come to power which will cause these “new democracies,” such as Egypt, to look more like Pakistan than Turkey as the State Department has claimed; although Turkey is looking more like Pakistan these days. Where is the U.S. government in all this? Also, Secretary of State Clinton claims that the U.S. could work with the Muslim Brotherhood; does she know who they are? Secretary Clinton is hosting the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) which pushes a Sharia agenda as the determinant for human rights. The OIC is now trying to push for anti-blasphemy laws in America which would make it a criminal offense to speak ill of Islam. Ever hear of the First Amendment?
Rep. Gus Bilirakis joins Fred Grandy inside the Cloakroom to further dig into the plight of the Coptic Christians in Egypt. Should the U.S. keep sending $1.3 billion in military aid to Egypt each year? 14 million Christians, over 10% of the population, are being persecuted. Is this aid being used to kill Coptic Christians? America is the leader of the free world and it’s time for America to lead.
Former Orange County SWAT Commander Mike Foreman explains the growing concern among law enforcement officials of the use of IEDs in the U.S. Mike explains the improvements in equipment, training, understanding and information sharing that has helped law enforcement to combat this threat. Homeland Security’s Trip Wire initiative which is “designed to prevent, identify, and disrupt” the use of IEDs in America is one such improvement. Mike Foreman also speaks on the Bulletproof Vest Partnership Program which helps supplement the budgets of small and medium law enforcement agencies throughout the U.S. so every law enforcement officer has a vest when he goes to work. What are the advancements in these new vests and how will they help law enforcement better serve the community?
Weekly guest Bill Gertz sheds light on the Obama Administrations new concessions to the Russians pertaining to arms control. Does Obama want America to be completely defenseless? Gertz also talks about Congressman Wolf’s efforts to find the results of a Commerce Department study that could potential show that Chinese telecommunications systems have infiltrated American telecommunication systems. This is the result of a massive economic and technological espionage operation set up by the Chinese a decade ago. China not only steals American information, but also plants viruses into American systems and when we need that technology the most it won’t be there. When will Obama open his eyes to this threat?

Tuesday Nov 22, 2011
Michael Mukasey, Fred Grandy
Tuesday Nov 22, 2011
Tuesday Nov 22, 2011
Former Attorney General Michael Mukasey spends two segments with Frank to give his insights into the silent jihad and the Muslim Brotherhood’s successful influence operations here in America. Michael Mukasey recaps his speech on Veterans Day at the Federalist Society, in which he spoke about the motivation for jihad, Sharia and how political correctness is handcuffing officials from openly discussing this situation. The Obama Administration is bending over backwards for these militant groups and leaving the moderate, freedom-loving Muslims without a voice.
Fred Grandy explains how the president is artfully blaming the Republicans for the Supercommittee failure. An endeavor that was designed to fail, is now forcing the Pentagon to make drastic cuts to our national security. The president and the Democrats had no intention of ever conceding to any of the Republicans ideas for cutting the budget and therefore it was inevitable that the committee would fail. Is there another way to avoid the hollowing out of our national defenses? Which theaters of operations will get the limited resources that the Department of Defense will have left? We will be pinning the Middle East against Asia, which threat do we work against?

Wednesday Nov 16, 2011
Fred Grandy, Matt Brodsky, Rep. Dan Burton
Wednesday Nov 16, 2011
Wednesday Nov 16, 2011
Former House member Fred Grandy, addresses a breaking story in which the valuable U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedoms will be forced to close its doors by the end of the week if Richard Durbin, the number two Democrat in the Senate, succeeds in holding-up reauthorization of the commission’s budget. Grandy believes Durbin’s motivation for this could either be his own parochial interests or Durbin answering to a higher authority- the Obama administration or the radical Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Either way this presents an issue area in which the Democrats should apply the transparency that they always preach.
Matt Brodsky of the Jewish Policy Center gives his overview of the situation in Syria. Syria has acted with Iran to oppose the United States therefore the U.S. needs to take the lead in undermining the regime and helping to establish a democratic government that will work with the U.S. to oppose Iran’s nefarious activities within the region. If Bashar Assad is removed from power, who would take his place? Can America have confidence in a new Syrian government to help oppose Iran? America cannot allow Turkey to influence a future Syria because they are becoming more Islamist and could help push the Muslim Brotherhood into power.
Is Turkey headed down the same Islamist path as Tunisia, Egypt, and Libya? Congressman Dan Burton (R-IN) explains why it would be tragic if Turkey were to be lost to Islamist rule, seeing as how some countries in the Middle East are currently moving towards radicalization and Sharia law. The Congressman also discusses President Obama’s cancellation of the U.S. missile defense system in Poland and the Czech Republic. Instead, the Obama administration has proposed a sea-based missile defense system in Eurasia.
